Good farm stay, no power
We booked a Tenthuisje met privédouche for a weekend away on a Melkveehouderij vakantie farm. The booking process online was simple enough, just picked our dates and farm. Getting there was easy, good directions. The lodge itself was really clean and spacious, plenty of room for us and the kids. No electricity took some getting used to, but the wood-burning stove kept it cozy in the evenings. Made for a nice change. The private shower was a big plus, always had hot water. We did the Boerderijtour, which was great for the kids, they loved seeing the cows. The beds were comfy. My only minor complaint was that the local farm products shop had limited hours, missed it a few times. Overall, a solid experience for a quiet getaway.
Reliable farm escape
This was our third time with BoerenBed, we always go for a Familievakantie. This time we picked a Schapenboerderij verblijf. The experience was consistent with previous stays. Booking was straightforward like before. The Tenthuisje met hottub we got was well-maintained. The hottub was a nice addition, used it every evening. We usually do a Pizza avond on the farm, and it was just as good as the last farm. The kids enjoy the Knuffelen met dieren part a lot. It's why we keep coming back, the simple farm life is just what we need sometimes. Never had issues with staff or getting check-in details. They're always reliable.
Nice tent, peaceful farm
Stayed in a Tenthuisje. It was clean and the farm was quiet. Good for a break. No complaints about the tent itself. Arrived late Friday, left Sunday. Worked out well. Took about 4 days to confirm everything after booking, which was fine.
